Understanding the Implementation of Talent Management Policy in Local Government Case Study in DKI Jakarta Province

Talent management is one of the priority programs to encourage superior civil services with high integrity. However, there are still very few studies explaining how talent implemented in local governments. This study aims provide a quick understanding implementation policy DKI Jakarta Provincial government. The research method applied through qualitative approach using data from interviews, focus group discussions (FGD), observations, and reviews documents sourced Government, State Civil Apparatus Commission, academics. found that Province just issued an Enactment Governor’s Regulation Number 8 for Year 2022 concerning Management. Moreover, two policies, namely decree Governor Guidelines Implementation Competency Development Servants Integrated/Integrated Learning System Approach; ( Corporate University); Decree Map Human Resource Government Environment 2021-2022 have strongly supported development management. In addition, commitment top leaders encourages all stage’s management, acquisition, development, retention. this also some internal policies were not optimally. condition due lack technical guidelines implementation, need more cooperation various institutions utilize resources infrastructure support management.
